Supplies Checklist: Items included in this kit

6 foam liners (numbered according to placement in shipper)

Ice bricks ( place in freezer for 48 hours before shipment )
       Are you short on time for freezing ice bricks? Use bags of frozen veggies instead!

Mesh flower bag

10 tape strips (for box assembly and attaching freezer packs to bottom of foam-lined box)

1 floral re-hydration spray (for use in Step 2 )

Sales Terms & Conditions (freezeframe contract) 2 copies

 

Supplies Checklist: Items you will need from home

Packing filler (shredded paper, newspaper, or packing pills)

Water (for use in Step 1 )

Tin foil & paper towels (for any flowers not in green oasis foam holder)

 

STEP 1: FLOWER HYDRATION (do immediately before packing)

1. For bouquets arranged in green oasis foam holders , pour cool water over the green oasis holder, giving the flowers a drink before shipment.
2. For bouquets with stems , cut 1” off the bottom of the stems and wrap them with some drenched paper towels, then wrap paper towels with tin foil to hold in moisture. (For stems entirely bound by ribbon, wrap wet paper towels around ribbon-covered stems… wet ribbons are OK)
3. For individual flowers , follow steps listed for bouquets with stems (#2)

PACKING TIP: Remove orange stamens on lilies before packing them, they will discolor your flowers

STEP 2: FLOWER PACKING (ship kit within 8 hours of packing)

1. Tape bottom of corrugated box using 2-4 tape strips.
    Please use tape strips, or a clear packing tape, so your box can be recycled.
2. Place foam liners in shipper box on the side of the box with corresponding (1-5).
3. Tape frozen ice bricks to bottom of foam-lined box with 2-4 tape strips.
4. Fill base of box with about 2” of packing filler.
5. Spritz flowers with re-hydration spray and place flowers in mesh flower bag. The bag will protect your flowers from the packing material.
    Place spray bottle in bottom of box, it is recycled!
6. Nestle wrapped flowers into box.
7. Fill box with packing filler, and final foam lid on top.
8. Place order copy (or your name and order #) and signed Sales Terms and Conditions in sealable envelope located on foam lid. Close corrugated box and tape shut with remaining tape strips
    Please use tape strips provided or clear packing tape if you use your own. Duct tape destroys the recyclable card board box.
9. Adhere UPS label to top of cardboard box and call 1-800-742-5877 to schedule your UPS pickup. Ship kit within 8 hours of packing to insure flower freshness.

A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING VIA UPS: our shipping company, UPS, works hard to arrive within the promised window to pick up your shipper. They do, however, have scheduling issues from time to time that bump their pickup times back by several hours. DO NOT WORRY if your driver hasn't arrived within the promised window… he(or she) IS COMING and will have your flowers to the distribution center by the necessary 11pm deadline for arrival at our studio the next morning. Your E-Z Ship box has been designed to keep your flowers looking great until they arrive at our studios, so your flowers will be safe in the box, even if it sits outside all day.
